Elysium, the Layer 2 network built by Kinetiq, launches its mainnet on November 9, 2026, with trading applications live from day one. Every transaction fee on the new network is paid in Hyperliquid (HYPE)<\/a>, and transactions settle on HyperEVM, according to the Elysium announcement<\/a>.<\/p>\n

What Is the Elysium Mainnet Launch?<\/h2>\n

Elysium is a general-purpose Layer 2 network designed to extend Hyperliquid's trading stack. Its testnet is live, with infrastructure partners including Goldsky, Serialized and Cantina preparing for mainnet. The team has set November 9, 2026 as the mainnet date and states the network is not live before then. The testnet already hosts decentralised exchanges, perpetuals trading, launchpads, gaming apps and a social application.<\/p>\n

The network is built by Kinetiq (KNTQ)<\/a>, the liquid staking protocol behind much of the Hyperliquid ecosystem<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Trading Apps Live From Day One<\/h2>\n

Token launch platform pump.fun and trading app fomo have both confirmed they will support trading on Elysium from the first day. Fomo is the network's exclusive trading partner.<\/p>\n

Uniswap is preparing deployments on Elysium, applications connected to 0x can execute swaps from day one, and KyberSwap says it is ready to operate on the network. Derive V3 brings options trading to the launch line-up.<\/p>\n

How Elysium Uses HYPE<\/h2>\n

Every transaction on Elysium pays its fee in HYPE. The network settles its transactions on HyperEVM, the smart contract layer of Hyperliquid, so the token takes on a new fee-paying role as the chain grows. Traders can follow the token on the Hyperliquid price chart<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Kinetiq will direct 50% of sequencer revenue to KNTQ buybacks and burns. The remaining half is split between developer incentives and the protocol treasury.<\/p>\n

What to Watch After Launch<\/h2>\n
