Aerodrome is the largest decentralized exchange (DEX) on Base, the layer-2 network built by Coinbase. It launched in 2023 as a fork of Velodrome and uses a ve(3,3) model, where AERO holders vote on which pools get rewards. Aerodrome Slipstream adds concentrated liquidity pools. How does Aerodrome work?

You connect a Base wallet and swap tokens against liquidity pools, with no account or KYC. Liquidity providers earn AERO emissions, and voters who lock AERO earn the trading fees and incentives of the pools they vote for.
