Polling faster than once a minute returns the same figure. For prices pushed the moment they change, the Professional plan includes the WebSocket API.
Yes. Pass referenceCurrencyUuid to any Coinranking price endpoint and every price, market cap and volume is converted. More than 180 fiat currencies are available, plus any coin, Bitcoin denominators such as satoshi, and commodities, indices and stocks. Find a currency's UUID with the reference currencies endpoint; the euro is 5k-_VTxqtCEI.
Call /coin/:uuid/price?timestamp= with an epoch timestamp in seconds. Coinranking API returns the nearest stored price: minute resolution within the last 24 hours, hourly for the last 30 days and daily beyond that. For a series rather than a point, use price history.
Yes. Coinranking API supports CORS on every plan, so a front end can call /coins directly. Because the key is visible in browser requests, most production apps proxy through their own server, or issue a separate key for the front end; Professional includes unlimited keys, and any key can be revoked from the dashboard.
