Coinranking global market cap history, global trading volume history and Bitcoin dominance history accept timePeriod=all, returning the series back to the earliest data Coinranking holds, with Bitcoin's own history starting in 2010. Shorter periods from 1h to 5y return finer-grained points. All three history endpoints are Professional.
Coinranking calculates total market cap as the sum of each listed coin's price multiplied by its circulating supply, using the same aggregated price its coin endpoints return and a circulating supply that excludes locked and reserved addresses (supply modifiers). Coins below a low-volume threshold are filtered from rankings and global stats to keep the totals honest.
