How BSC Works

BSC uses a consensus model called Proof of Staked Authority. A limited set of validators produce blocks, and BNB holders can stake to support them. This design gives fast blocks and low fees. Many people use BSC for cheap trading and DeFi. Pegged tokens on BSC are backed by the original coins held elsewhere, so they track the original price.

Risks

BSC has fewer validators than many other networks, so it is more centralized. Pegged tokens depend on the bridge or company that holds the original coins. Creating a token on BSC is cheap, so scam tokens are common. Always check the contract address before you buy.
