Fantom ecosystem coins are the coins and tokens that live on the Fantom Opera blockchain. This list ranks them by market cap, with live prices. Most tokens here are DeFi tokens and tokens bridged from Ethereum, such as USDC, DAI and LINK. Fantom has been succeeded by Sonic, a new chain from the same team.

How the Fantom Blockchain Works

Validators stake FTM to secure Fantom Opera and confirm transactions. Lachesis lets validators agree on transactions quickly without a single leader. Since Opera is EVM-compatible, many Ethereum DeFi apps also deployed on Fantom. Users connect with Ethereum wallets like MetaMask.

  • Stablecoins: Tokens like USDC, DAI, TUSD and FRAX that track the US dollar.
