Short answer: All three sites list tokens for free through their own online form. Your token must already trade on an exchange they track, with a working website and block explorer. Coinranking usually reviews in 1 to 3 working days. CoinGecko takes up to 5 days, or 24 hours with a $1,000 Fast Pass. CoinMarketCap’s free review has no fixed time, and its paid fast track is called CMC Priority. You never need a listing agent.

Before you apply
Every site checks the same basics. Have these ready:
- A live trading pair on an exchange the site already tracks
- A working website and a public block explorer
- Your contract address, decimals and supply figures
- A square logo and your official social links
- A contact person from the team
The most common reason for delays is a wrong or missing trading pair link.
1. Coinranking
Coinranking tracks more than 2.4 million coins and has 500K+ monthly users.
- Cost: free. You don’t need to buy ads to get listed.
- Fast track: none. The review is the same for every project.
- Requirements: the coin must trade on one of the exchanges Coinranking tracks, with an active blockchain and a working block explorer
- Review time: usually 1 to 3 working days
- Not trading yet? You can soft-list the coin with the same form, then send an update once it trades
How to apply:
- Open the coin listing form.
- Fill in the coin basics and the exchange trading pair.
- Add the blockchain details: explorer, contract address and decimals.
- Add supply and project details, then submit.
Updates to your logo, links, supply or description are free too, through the coin update form.
2. CoinGecko
CoinGecko lists tokens through its request form. Choose “New Coin/Token Listing”.
- Requirements: the token must trade on an exchange CoinGecko tracks
- Verification: you post a public verification message from an official project account, then reply with your Request ID
- Cost: free, according to its listing terms
- Fast Pass: $1,000 per listing request, reviewed within 24 hours. It does not guarantee approval and cannot be refunded.
- Review time: up to 5 days without Fast Pass
- Updates: free, or $200 per request with Fast Pass
CoinGecko may also ask you to verify your identity or company. It doesn’t explain rejections.
3. CoinMarketCap
CoinMarketCap says its online submission form is the only way to request a listing. Its listing guidelines explain the rules.
- Requirements: a working website and block explorer, trading on at least one tracked exchange with real volume, and a contact person
- Cost: free, but free reviews have no guaranteed turnaround
- Fast track: CMC Priority, a paid service for faster review. The price is shared on request.
- Assessment: the team, investors and the project’s conduct all count. Meeting the rules does not guarantee a listing.
- Updates: through the same form. Don’t send duplicate requests.
Tokens that only trade on decentralized exchanges may already appear automatically in CoinMarketCap’s DexScan, as unverified listings.
Do you need a listing agency?
No. All three sites list tokens through their own form, for free.
CoinMarketCap says it does not approve any outside service to help with listings. It also warns about people who claim “insider” access or guaranteed results. Trying to pay staff gets a project blacklisted.
Be careful with anyone who:
- Promises a guaranteed listing for a fee
- Contacts you first, claiming to work for a listing site
- Asks you to pay to a personal wallet
Need help with the form? Coinranking answers questions on Telegram, usually within 24 hours.
After you are listed
A listing makes your token findable, but it doesn’t bring buyers on its own. Most teams plan more:
- List on a centralized exchange for more trading
- Promote your token with a Top Coin or Trending spot
- Share the news with a crypto press release
