Nine Chronicles is an open-source, fully decentralized idle MMORPG built by Planetarium Labs, a South Korean blockchain game studio founded in 2018 by Kijun Seo and Swen Mun. The game operates with no central servers — every player acts as a network node.

How Wrapped NCG Works

NCG lives natively on the Nine Chronicles blockchain. To bring it into the Ethereum ecosystem, users bridge their NCG to WNCG via the Nine Chronicles Portal. The reverse process — converting WNCG back to NCG — is also supported through the same portal.

A daily conversion limit and a minimum transfer threshold apply to each direction of the bridge, ensuring orderly flow between the two networks. The BNB Smart Chain deployment further extends WNCG's reach to additional DEX pools and trading pairs.

Tokenomics

WNCG has no independent issuance schedule — its supply on Ethereum dynamically reflects the amount of NCG currently bridged. When NCG is locked for bridging, an equivalent amount of WNCG is minted; when WNCG is redeemed, the corresponding NCG is released and WNCG is burned.

To support long-term token health, Planetarium Labs implemented a burn mechanism under the NCG 2.0 upgrade, directing a portion of in-game revenue to token burns. Staking NCG within the game also generates in-game consumable rewards, tying token utility directly to gameplay progression.
