Introduction

Metastrike is a metaverse first-person shooter (FPS) blockchain game built on BNB Smart Chain. It combines the competitive intensity of traditional shooters with Web3 ownership, letting players earn, trade, and truly own their in-game assets as NFTs.

The native token, MTS, powers governance and the broader game economy, while a secondary in-game token, MTT, drives day-to-day rewards and purchases.

History & Background

Metastrike was created in late 2021 by the CG ART game development studio. The team brings over a decade of experience in game development, having previously collaborated with major studios including Ubisoft on Hungry Dragon and Square Enix on Final Fantasy XV.

The MTS token launched in early 2022, following a successful private and strategic funding round that brought in institutional backers before public availability.

How Metastrike Works

Metastrike features both PvE (player vs. environment) and PvP (player vs. player) game modes, including Zombie/Survival Mode, Deathmatch, Demolition Mode, and Clan Wars (Guild Mode).

Players start with a training course, then create characters and receive an NFT weapon crate to begin their journey. Daily tasks reward active players with tokens and NFT boxes, incentivizing consistent play.

The MTT token is earned through gameplay — defeating zombies, winning matches, or completing objectives. MTT can be used to upgrade weapons, unlock maps, and purchase consumables. Players holding NFTs can also swap MTT for MTS up to certain limits.

Tokenomics

MTS is the primary governance and utility token of the Metastrike ecosystem. Holders can stake MTS to earn rewards, vote on key governance decisions such as changes to game mechanics and reward structures, and participate in special in-game events.

MTT acts as the in-game currency. A burn mechanism is built in — whenever MTT is spent, it is permanently removed from circulation, with a portion directed to weekly prize pools for top-ranked players.

Token allocations span strategic rounds, team and advisors, staking and community rewards, yield farming, and a foundation reserve.
