Introduction

Hive Intelligence is an AI infrastructure project that bridges the gap between large language models (LLMs) and live blockchain data. Its core product is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server — a standardized interface that lets AI agents query on-chain data across more than 60 networks in real time.

The HINT token is the native utility token of this ecosystem, built on the Base blockchain.

History & Background

Hive Intelligence conducted a public IDO in late 2024, raising $2.64 million, and completed its Token Generation Event (TGE) in January 2025. The project emerged from a recognized problem: AI agents, despite their growing capabilities, lacked reliable and structured access to real-time blockchain data.

The team set out to build a single, unified data layer that eliminates the fragmentation and technical complexity that typically slows down blockchain-AI integrations.

How Hive Intelligence Works

Hive Intelligence operates as a remote MCP server. Developers point any MCP-compatible AI client — such as Claude, ChatGPT, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or CrewAI — to a single endpoint. The server then handles data normalization, returning structured, machine-readable JSON-RPC objects back to the agent.

This design removes the need for developers to maintain chain-specific RPC connections or manage fragmented data sources. The platform processes data from 9 major providers, offering 376+ tools across 10 categories including DeFi analytics, NFT data, token security, DEX flows, and wallet intelligence.

Tokenomics

HINT is designed with a deflationary economic model. The platform currently offers free tiers for enterprise integrations, with future paid tiers planned to drive quarterly token buybacks and burns, creating a direct link between platform adoption and token scarcity.

Token holders can stake HINT to unlock priority API features, higher query limits, exclusive data endpoints, and reduced latency. Stakers also earn rewards tied to ecosystem performance, aligning long-term incentives across users and developers.
