How do I mint ckUSDC?: To mint ckUSDC, you deposit USDC on Ethereum to the ICP minter canister, which then issues an equivalent amount of ckUSDC on ICP. You will also need a small amount of ckETH available to cover Ethereum gas fees when withdrawing.
Is ckUSDC fully backed?: Yes. Every ckUSDC in circulation is backed 1:1 by USDC locked in the ICP minter canister smart contract. This backing is transparent and can be verified on-chain by anyone through the canister's public dashboard.
